Mosquitoes are the most unpleasant of all flying insects in Florida. They also transmit diseases like Zika virus, Yellow fever, Dengue, Malaria, Nile River fever…

General Approach

To control mosquitoes’ population in a Florida single-family home, we need to work in three different levels:

  1. Treating de entire perimeter of the property, creating a synthetic barrier
    • Spraying with a Backpack Blower.
    • Using a Mix of products:
      • Eco-friendly Killer
      • Natural Repellent
      • Waterproof Sticker
      • Insect Growing Regulator
    • Specific way of spraying: Bushes, trees, and grass of the property
  2. Using Larvicide products:
    • To treat water areas in the house
    • Mosquito traps (In2care …) strategically placed
  3. Creating an out-door specific “safe area”: Misting System

Frequency of Spraying: Between 7- 30 days depending on the mosquito population and the South FL Mosquito Season ( Between 7-21 days from Apr 1st to Oct 15th, and every month from Oct 15th to Apr 1st).

 MISTING SYSTEMS

    • Use candles/ torches with citronella smell.
    • Place some pots with basil or rosemary somewhere in the house.
    • Place half a lemon with a few cloves punctured on the window of your bedroom.
